INST 210 | MOVING DEEPER INTO MATHEMATICS, COMPUTER SCIENCE, PHYSICS, AND BIOPHYSICS.

Units: 1 Repeatability: No

This course will prepare students to move into deeper, more challenging upper-division courses in majors in mathematics, computer science, physics and/or biophysics (MCPB). Topics discussed will include how to read technical material, how to ask the right questions to gain understanding, how to study MCPB effectively, and an introduction to logical thinking as applied to the MCPB fields. These skills will be developed through study of basic problems in the individual disciplines of MCPB and through exploring connections among these disciplines.
